Pride month is over but recent events surrounding Drag Queen Story Time and the Minister's comments highlight why we must continue to advocate for the rights of LGBT+ workers. All artists must work without fearing for their safety. We see you, we support you, we ARE you.
Communities Minister Gordon Lyons has said a drag queen storytelling event at a Library in east Belfast was "not appropriate for children" and "should not have taken place".
