Don’t worry; we and our collaborators at Public Environmental Data Partners have stood up a copy of EJScreen, the environmental justice mapping and screening tool taken down by Trump's EPA last week. You can access it here:

Less than three days after CEJST was taken offline, EDGI and fellow members of Public Environmental Data Partners (PEDP) stood up an unofficial but functional copy, restoring public access.

In the first couple of days of the second Trump administration, the EPA removed several web pages related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts at the EPA.

This week the Trump administration took offline the climate and economic justice mapping tool CEJST. We, as part of the Public Environmental Data Project, have recreated it. Here’s our unofficial but functional copy:

"Unfortunately, throughout the four years of the Biden administration (which made great progress in a lot of areas like environmental justice) there wasn't any progress in our information policies. So the removal of public information is totally allowed.".

As of this morning, the Trump administration removed the Climate and Environmental Justice Screening Tool (CEJEST). Don't worry; we have the code and data backed up. (1/2).

We don’t expect the Trump administration to abandon scientific principles and data wholesale but to weaponize them in service of special economic interests, following a playbook laid out in the 2018 Strengthening Transparency in Regulatory Science rule.
