Let's be quite clear - @ScottMorrisonMP did not "save" $60 billion on the JobKeeper program. He promised $750 a week to 6 million sacked workers, and then went back on his promise to 2.5 million of them. He cannot be trusted about anything. #auspol

Phil Ruddock was once a progressive who crossed to the dark side to become the principle architect of Howard’s appalling refugee policy. When I asked him why he’d betrayed his own principles Phil replied with a shrug ... “I’ve waited 20 years to be a minister”

in possibly the greatest moment ever on #TheDrum, asked about his OAM supposedly for services to Indigenous communities, mighty Amy McQuire smiles sweetly to camera and says “Tony Abbott I think you should give it back because you don’t deserve it”.

We need to freeze evictions. We need to defer mortgages. We need to act. Because a safe place to call home is important now more than ever.

I am sorry but the PM was all over the shop tonight. Australia needs a multi media campaign stressing the urgency of the measures announced. Or won’t his business mates let him get that real?

PM Scott Morrison tonight encouraged anyone with a job to send kids to #school; NSW Premier @GladysB encouraged parents to keep them at home. So contradictory.! These contradictions place unfair pressures on parents & teachers.

A woman who was on board the Ruby Princess cruise ship has now died in a Sydney hospital. At least 133 cases are tied to the ship, NSW Health confirms. This is a massive blunder from Australian officials - how did it get to this point??

Great news. In Australia, everyone including asymptomatic people should have been tested from the beginning. They are not and testing is still restricted despite guidelines. When will upgraded guidelines take effect? How many test kits are there in Australia today @GregHuntMP

When asked about closing schools last week the PM told reporters that his kids were still going to school. Several reports say his kids have not been in school for 3 weeks & are now being home schooled. Can a journo get an answer from the PM on this please 🐝 #auspol #insiders

All the tourists/grey nomads need to go home now. Regional communities cannot deal with hundreds of thousands of city based peeps getting in their Prado’s and dragging the caravan to an area already unprepared and under-resourced.
