@EnjoyerFive
It frustrates me to no end when people refer to George Floyd as “just a criminal”. Sure he may have had a troubled past, but he has been long since turning his life around. There is no way to know if he knew the dollar bill was fake, and what happened to him was a tragedy.
@EnjoyerFive
2 of these are right though, black on black crime IS a bigger problem than white supremacy rn because we're killing each other while screaming justice for those lives we lost, and George may have been a criminal but his death was undeserved so there's that.
@EnjoyerFive
\Technically, she ain't wrong.
But whooo boy, you ain't kiddin'.
There's Shadow BOXING then there's testing to see if you get Shadow BANNED in post-Elon era...
@EnjoyerFive
thats freedom of speech though, its up to us to decide weather its cancerous or not, nothing should be censored imo we as a collective should decide whats good or bad and hold people responsible, ppl forget freedom of speech doesnt mean freedom of consequence
@EnjoyerFive
He isn't in charge yet. Nothing has changed hands, it's the same Twitter now as it was weeks ago.
I don't like the "freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences" rhetoric but ppl are kicking the hive.
@EnjoyerFive
She is not wrong about that third one. Ask any older black person around about this and they will agree that too many of us are killing each other over nothing. It got worse that even children are getting shot, or teens are the ones doing the shooting.
@EnjoyerFive
-but they shouldn't be discriminated against for it
-but he deserved a fair trial
-but one shouldn't forget the latter either
All technically true, but lacking context for a meaningful conversation
