Sad Fact..
Coaches that don’t know how to make athletes strong are actually trying to scare athletes into thinking being strong is a bad thing.
NO high school athlete who has only been training for 4 years is too strong!

I’ve worked with & witnessed a lot of athletes jump 40+ on the jump mat over the years. Yes impressive, but it’s the jump mat, so it never really knocked my socks off. That being said, when a HS athlete jumps 42.6” at 220 lbs, IM IMPRESSED! Keep working hard

Sprints should be the main emphasis in the most sport prep programs. It’s sad, but media favors the gimmicks like high speed treadmills, ladders, cone drills, etc.
Time is valuable & should be maximized. No gimmick will ever compare to true acceleration & speed work⚡️
