This involved mechanical commissioning and implementation of an all-electric hot water systems. The facility is the first electrified municipal aquatics center in CA to include more than 10,000 sq. ft. of pool area.

💦 It was a long time coming, but we finally had our grand opening of our new aquatics center! . The planned summer 2024 opening of the Aquatics Center was delayed to March 2025 due to construction challenges.

While external committees can be with councilmembers from our region, state or national level. I am currently on my way to the National League of Cities in DC to take part of in the Economic Development Committee to advocate to the Fed Gov on our housing & local business needs.

City Councilmembers usually get Committee assignments based on what they are interested. Internal assignments like the Council Neighborhoods Committee are with two other Mountain View councilmembers.

A #throwbackthursday to this past Saturday when I did another ribbon cutting as the Vice Mayor. We welcomed Mission Binz which sells Amazon, Target, and retail returns and overstock. They start the week on Saturday with items on sale for $20 and then end it on $1 on Fridays.
