Our research, published in the JECE, investigated the reuse of a treated greywater–rainwater mixture (25:75) for irrigation. Using an MBR and a cross-flow system, the UV-disinfected effluent complied with the EU Class A water quality standards for agricultural irrigation.

Our recent study in Biomass and Bioenergy shows that low-temperature thermal-alkali pretreatment of AGS sludge enhances methane production and phosphorus recovery as struvite, offering a cost-effective and sustainable sludge management strategy.
