Out of morbid curiosity, I picked up a copy of The Laundry by Cubicle 7. Despite it using the rule system I designed, and copy pasting thousands of words I wrote, I am not included anywhere in the credits. I also outlined the whole book and designed the character sheet. Oh well.

A bit of reporting about the Wizards layoffs ahead of Hasbro announcing a $98 million dividend payout to stockholders.

For context, it's about 3k to fly first class from Ireland to the US, so each trip was about 6k, and it was 3 to 5 times a year

If you think WotC is an outlier for greed in the #ttrpg industry, you're sorely mistaken. A company I worked for in the past refused all staff raises cause they "couldn't afford it", while at the same time the CEO was flying 1st class to and from the US multiple times per year.

Really sad to hear about the layoffs at WoTC. I hope all of those affected move on to bigger and better things. I also really appreciate @enworldrpg calling WotC out with this rider at the end of their article
