Journalists are #NotATarget. Attacks against journalists are attacks against fundamental freedoms. A free press is essential to human rights, democracy and the rule of law; and to ensure the truth is brought to light and perpetrators brought to account.

UN Sec Gen: ‘ There must be individual responsibility for the killings of journalists.’ Targeting of journalists in conflict zones is a war crime. Israel’s closest allies Germany, US and the west can no longer be silent and just ‘ condemn’ these killings.
