Just catching up on a bit of the #CelticCup and can’t deny Dyke’s feeds are 🔥 in attack, but feel for NI defence…imagine they’ll now feel very familiar with these upper limbs

Armchair coach thoughts…big fan of starting 7, got a bit flat in Q2 (not getting ballside ➡️lateral cross channel passes ➡️easy for NZ defence) needed Cardwell on, possibly Pearson GA but not a strong enough WA to bring in. Williams to GK or Brown back on. A shame. #ENGvNZL

McCall, Leighton, Nicholl (the whole unit defence in the second half really) look really good, especially considering not all the players even have full time NSL contracts. Very impressive group 😍 #SCOvNZL

Interested in others’ experience of applying to volunteer at the #NWYC - seem to remember it was quite a lengthy application and there was nothing afterwards to confirm which roles I’d applied for, and no follow up re an obviously unsuccessful outcome.

Caught up on Forest v Lightning this evening with my dad - his first ever NSL match. Within 10 mins “WOW that was from miles away!!”, “How does she do that?!” and “Why doesn’t everyone just give her the ball?” Latest Streutker fan 👏👏👏 #NSL2025
