Excellent explanation about why Trump’s big ugly bill is sending #coleg into a special session next week to plug another billion dollar hole

There’s a lot of confusion out there about why the hole exists, how the state budget works and what’s going to be done to address the gap

Devastating directive from the Trump CMS will lead to a drop in healthcare coverage for infants and toddlers in CO. I was so proud to sponsor the legislation that would have provided for continuous Medicaid eligibility for children birth to 3. The cruelty continues from Trump.

SB25-289 is now in effect! This law safely redirects certain unused prescription medication to patients who might not be able to afford their prescriptions. SB25-289 saves patients money, reduces waste, prevents environmental contamination and makes health care more accessible.

Thank you to @ReachOutReadCO .& Kaiser's pediatric clinic for a lovely visit today to see in person how this fantastic program works. They partner with pediatric healthcare providers to share new books at well-child visits starting at the 2-week visit through age 5.

Today is the 35th anniversary of the ADA, which has made countless meaningful steps toward a world that's accessible to all. There is still so much more to do, but proposed budget cuts from Trump threaten to undo decades of progress. We need to keep moving forward, not backward.

Just terrible. Lina Khan's FTC saved Americans $billions and returned $100s of millions directly to them. Now Trump's FTC is trying to undo all progress made for consumers. Btwn merger settlements and the 8th circuit ruling on click to cancel, Trump is making life more expensive.

The @FTC has settled three merger challenges in the past month, while @JusticeATR pulled its first merger challenge on the eve of trial. It’s a return to a failed era of merger deregulation and permissive consolidation. Yesterday @econliberties submitted a formal comment.
