I think we are now coming, if not already, to a point of niches in the market. Artists now have access to a global audience without going mainstream or having radio hits, and I wanna see SA hip hop at that forefront. With people like you, Eatz, we are sure not to miss the shot🤞🏾
The internet. In 2016-2019, social media was present but it wasn’t the main source for being exposed to new talent.. the audience relied on record labels, radio, tv & DJs doing it for them. Now all you need is a social media account to market yourself directly to your audience.
