Asking for a friend…how much coffee a day is too much? More or less than 13 cups?

I here by name today ‘Impossible Day’. It was on this day a year ago my amazing team achieved the impossible ensuring the universities 4,500 staff & 21,000 students were ready to move into lockdown for 6 weeks.

Decaffenated coffee..... why?

The advantages of working for a university that is able to make its only hand sanitizer is you become a connoisseur of the variances in batches. The current patch is obviously made by some who like their vodka neat. Keep your hands away from open flames.

Shout out to @Bridgestone Greymouth (New Zealand). Came to our rescue even when they were officially shut. Saved our holiday!

Apparently I'm optimistic, confident and friendly...... Not sure I feel like it internally sometimes.

So proud of the team today. Everyone calmly went about their roles today preparing for whatever may come. All the plans we’ve practiced went into effect without so much as boo from me. Every time I say ‘have we...’ the answer was ‘already done’. They are an amazing team. So proud

Doh! Spent the last 30 minutes trying to work out why my departments staff numbers were out by 1... yeah, forgot to count myself.

Any words of praise I may receive I receive on behalf of my amazing team. They truly have made the impossible possible and achieved the unachievable. Every time I tell them how amazing they say they were 'just doing their job'. No my friends, you have gone so so far beyond that.

Mad scientist ‘haircut’ might have to wait for another day to be cut... barber fully booked this afternoon which is a great sign. Good to see town so busy.
