Hardware is hard!
Just pulled out my @Bitkey for the first time after setting it up 6+ months ago, and the battery no longer holds a charge. My fingerprint only registers while it's plugged in...and even though the app says it's fully charged, as soon as I unplug it, it stops responding. ๐ซ

Imagine if Kim Jong Un offered free phone HW for open-source Android. Would you trust that phone as your primary device? As a firmware dev, I say no because HW ownership = trust. Bitcoinโs SW is open, but HW is controlled by few. True sovereignty needs control. #Bitcoin #Mining
