Great run at Kerstetter! Gage 4th, Robert 6th, Will 22nd, Spenser 107th for men. Madison was 2nd overall female. Nice work! Thanks to Gavo 3rd, Jesse 14th and Owen 33rd for alumni support.

It is going to be hot the next three days. The CDC says:. 1. Run early or late in avoid 10am-4pm.2. Run in shaded areas.3. Drink plenty of water or sport drinks.4. Shorten time .5. Cut run short if not feeling well.6. Hydrate even when you are not thirsty. Be smart and safe!.

Gavo ended his career with a great race last night. He was in 4th place with 1000m to go before sliding back. He said afterwards. “I decided to go for it, to see if I could do it.” He may have fallen short in the attempt, but he will never doubt himself. That is a life lesson.

Cross Country Meeting: There will be a meeting for anybody interested in running for @ElyriaCross next season on Thursday, May 22 in Coach Brinda's room 108 right after school. The meeting will only last 10 minutes.

The Pioneers ran tough at the SWC Championships setting several course records in the process! Congrats to Gavin Smith who was the runner up in the boys race earning first team honors. We are so proud of everyone and their effort, district next week!

Boys and Girls take runner up spots at Western Reserve! Gavin Smith and Tori Bell took individual championships. Earning medals for top ten Sophie Fada 3rd, Madison Moran 5th, Robert Krasienko 5th and Gage Hopkins 10th.

The girls team won at Black River today. Tori Bell took 3rd, Madison Moran 9th, Sophie Fada 10th, Erin Crouse 23rd and Madelyn Fada was 44th. The boys placed 4th led by Gavin Smith 4th, Robert Krasienko 14th, Gage Hopkins 15, Luke Runion 34th and Josiah Oquendo 44th.
