In Fabric(new renderer for react native), views are recycled instead of destroyed and recreated. Given that, I wonder whether the recycling done in Flashlist/Legendlist is truly necessary or whether work needs to be put onto Flatlist to not perform virtualisation.

As a neovim user, I really appreciate that claude code works in the terminal and is not part of an IDE. Havent tried it yet but seems to be promising! Will dig in soon!.

If you use neovim and work with Typescript on large projects, make sure to use vtsls instead of ts_ls as your lsp server. I use neovim for productivity but ts_ls was making me go slow af. Lsp slower than vs code. With vtsls, lsp is as fast as vs code.

Why doesn't Javascript/Typescript have a built in method to round a number and get a number, instead of using .toFixed which returns a string and then calling parseFloat on it?.

Does anyone know how I can create a react native fabric component that is sized to the intrinsic size of the native component and I dont have to explicitly set the width/height/flex?. I cant find such a guide/example. #reactnative.
