A busy half-term Friday for 2 of our Scholars! Phoebe (Y10) was in Kilburn recording vocals for a modern orchestral recording with @lgtyoungsoloists, whilst Nirvana (Y9) was rehearsing with @angel_orchestra’s conductor ahead of her concerto performance with them in July.

As the first week of the Easter holidays draws to a close, we can reflect on a truly amazing term at Eltham. 24 concerts across 11 weeks, including major events in school and @BlackheathHalls and our first ever opera. Bring on a few weeks of quiet before we go again next term!

After our second Carols by Candlelight service it was time for the annual Choir Dinner - great fun, and an opportunity to thank the pupils in Chamber Choir and Young Voices for their extensive singing commitments over the past 12 months. Great speech from our Choral Captain, too!

After a great first carol service yesterday, with another to follow tomorrow evening, it was lovely to fit in a first run-through of Dido & Aeneas around the harpsichord in the foyer earlier today. A great project, and providing a bit of contrast to Chicago last week!
