My Detransition, 5 years later. My first time speaking in public!. I cried a lot when I was writing this speech, and it was impossible for me to contain my emotions on stage. I’m so grateful that I was welcomed to speak at this event and share my story.

I didn’t realize how big of a deal it was until a couple weeks ago. But then I didn’t even start looking at it until last week. I didn’t start reaching out to people until Thursday. I should have known this process would be arduous. But I’m also lucky to get any help at all.

I’ve been punished for waiting until the last minute to write my appeal letter for federal financial aid because literally… every. single. person. who I need a letter of support from is either on vacation, about to go on vacation, or left their job!!!!!!!.

i genuinely feel like my mood has lifted and something has just made me happier being in Missoula. maybe it’s from having an actual bed and a space that I can call home. but also just being in the town feels like home too. biking around town. everyone is so nice.

we saw a pine marten today. I had no idea these animals existed. it crossed the road and I was like “THAT WAS HUGE!”. I thought it was a wild dog/fox because my brain could not comprehend a rodent of that size. I learned something new. they’re cute. they have fox ears :3
