I notice that everyone📉in math. Not totally shocking, IMO, given that we went through a whole dang pandemic & it's socially acceptable for even adults to say "I'm not a math person." I wonder what high-yield, research backed strategies we might employ to address this issue?

I notice that most division scores in reading declined, but many stayed close to steady and a few even did better. I wonder what strategies they employed that might have had an impact on achievement?

Virginia just released its 2022 model policies and says schools must comply. It bans all transgender students in Virginia from bathrooms matching their gender. It makes teachers deadname and misgender trans students unless they have parental consent. This is horrifying.

The FCPS Hispanic Educators Association fully supports the protection and inclusion of LGBTQIA+ students and educators. There is no place for hate in FCPS and we ask that @fcpsnews continues to implement Regulation 2603 with fidelity. @FCPSPride @AEA_FCPS @fabsefx
