Her becoming Joshua and manipulating Gregory, as a cause and effect of her loneliness , this “persona” of hers is the dark shadow of her isolation, which turns into jealously and the reason why she went nuclear and massacred the orphanage

The funeral sequence and the killing of brown in Wendy’s perspective was not a act a malice, but out of desperation, in her compromised mind, she thought Jennifer would direct all the attention to her instead, which is why the meeting looked more like a proposal or a marriage

many times we see Wendy, she’s usually unwell or isolated, and this sort of loneliness at such her age is extremely damaging to the psyche, this is usually the period of life where we are showered in care and appreciation, it can be really detrimental to one’s development

When we first meet Wendy, she’s quite an outliner compared to everyone else in the aristocrat club, instead of cruelty, she shows warmth and is affectionate to Jennifer, even building up to a relationship, however she became extremely reliant on this love due to her isolation

I feel many people mischaracterize wendy as this one dimensional monster, when in reality there is many layers to her character and reasons behind her intentions, in this scene especially, was her final act of love to Jennifer, so that she may live on . (Thread) 🧵 #ruleofrose
