Whether it is slavery, the Holocaust, or the genocides of indigenous peoples across the world, literature can help us cultivate public memory so that it doesn't happen again. We should be expanding curriculum to include more of these books, and certainly not pulling them out.

RIVER is a strike. Here, we have the best hitters in the world. It’s a freakin STRIKE. We’re too good to be forced to throw it over the plate & possibly get hurt. When the hitters are hitting THESE pitches for base hits & home runs… we need the River to be a strike, Richard.

My takeaway from this tournament has been the story of women. Adia Barnes is epic. Former WNBA Champ. Arizona alum. This tourney made me fall in love with her story. We don't get enough of the story of women in sport. But we're trying. The WNBA is so important @ariivory
