Being pro life means protecting babies and women in the womb and out of it. My best chance at protecting myself and my children is with a gun.

Can I ask you ladies why Canadian women/men don't feel the need to own a gun to protect their families? Are our children less safe than yours? Are we less responsible parents than you are?

Men and women differ physically, with the former generally being stronger than the latter. Firearms equalize the genders in this area and I thought more people would support that.

*best chance* at protecting them from what? from bullying in school? from feeling the pains of self doubt? from an adult life without healthcare? I'm not anti responsible gun ownership but can we please take it down a notch.

How on earth can you compare the two. Millions of unborn babies are murdered each year. I guess since he lumps the two together it proves down deep he knows how wrong abortion is!!

Mother and baby may also get shot by a gun. If guns are very easily available to everyone it just raises the stakes of any conflict and amount of damage a single mad person can do.

This take is one of the reasons there is so much gun violence in the US. Having a gun doesn’t make you safer, it makes you just as dangerous as anyone else with a gun. This thought process is mind boggling.
