Really good piece by @siddhharia @salonium @rglenner on why we took so long to have a malaria vaccine! https://t.co/dplTKbkwza

Hundreds of thousands of people die from malaria each year, but it took 141 years to develop a vaccine for it. Advance market commitments could speed things up next time.

Thank you @jaljeevan_ @mahajan_vini @MoJSDDWS for hosting us for this #safewater discussion. Rigorous research by Michael Kremer and colleagues shows water treatment is one of the most cost-effective ways to save children's lives.
Nobel Laureate, #Michael Kremer met Smt. @mahajan_vini, Secretary, @MoJSDDWS today to discuss regarding pilot studies on disinfection technologies and health impact assessment due to the provision of safe drinking water under #JJM. @gssjodhpur @UChicago @iamvikassheel @PIBWater
