If SCOTUS guts the VRA, I wouldn’t be surprised if democrats try to put a proposition up fully repealing the independent commission, and I’m confident if would pass given the results of prop 50 last night.

As a prudential matter, VA Dems should immediately seek Jay Jones’s resignation. As an analytical matter, and something I hear in Dem focus groups a lot: R’s tolerance for Trump’s disqualifying behavior has created a real “eff going high, let’s go as low as them” mentality.

Mamdani is currently winning with 50.4% of the vote. He still would have won even if all the other votes went to Cuomo
Mamdani has no mandate. In a Mamdani-Cuomo race, Cuomo would have been the winner —all of the polls & math showed as much. In a head-to-head race, Cuomo would have demanded every ballot counted & the fraud would have been exposed. NY will learn soon enough.

They already know what happens with capitalism so they say why not go with “socialism” which in reality is just the government providing for them like any other country that isn’t America.
When I've questioned why young people would vote for socialism, replies here on 'X' have said "because young people are suffering, can't find work, afford rent, etc." Do young people not have any idea what comes with socialism? The suffering for them hasn't even started yet.

The governor of Alabama literally said she believed Roy Moore was a pedophile but that she was still gonna vote for him.
Republicans have a moral compass unlike the Democrats. When Roy Moore was nominated, Republicans shut it down. But, Democrats promote Jay Jones who wants to see political opponents and their kids shot and killed.

Voters have rejected Proposal 6 in New York City, which would have moved the mayor election to presidential years, had it passed, Zohran Mamdani would have been able to serve for 11 years as mayor as opposed to 8.
I'm really surprised that No is leading NYC Prop 6 by this much so far (moving local elections to presidential years).
