Thank you @scottishbooks for sharing such an encouraging, warm and thoughtful review of Connective Tissue.
āMost novels Iāve read donāt dig quite as deeply into the past as this, and the few that do donāt integrate the excitement of historical research into the story as thoroughly.' Read David Robinson's review of Connective Tissue by @EleanorJThom in full: https://t.co/F5L4GYJNpH

Watching last night's Up Helly Aa with my dad. He has held onto the memory of this from when he was a boy, and his dad George being one of the Vikings carrying the galley. https://t.co/lhzw7Rd7Iq

Delighted to say I'm now represented by the wonderful @SabhbhC at Curtis Brown. With my daughter, Oona, I'm currently working on a memoir about #caring for each other, #paraswimming and disabled sea mammals. š

Seal pups yesterday on Inchkeith Island (at a distance with a very long lens). My daughter thought the pupsā calls carrying over the water sounded like owls. My son said a zombie apocalypse. Hoping for calm weather while the pups get bigger and stronger.
