After a bit of tinkering it seems like it'd be much harder to make a USB build off of 1.60 due to the lack of a mount command or any simple entrypoint that doesn't involve repacking a pre-existing BAR file. Could still be possible, though.

My hunch was right -- it was contentserver. For some reason it looks for screenlinks for HARBOUR STUDIO there. Working fully on HEN now. Might be another good USB build candidate after 1.86 is done.

Ahhh.. scratch that. Only gets so far into Harbour until it softlocks. Will experiment, either contentserver, savedata, or looking for a file.

Took a shot in the dark and experimented with 1.60 on HEN. It's actually running on HEN now.

The good thing is that those kinds of objects are usually event-oriented and don't usually affect most of the "main" interactive objects. Even then, I'd love to have all of that working, event-based or not.

Half expecting a combo of LUAC + unarchived files on a similar level to SCEA though... hoo boy. Jeez I wish the state of archival was even a slight bit better, I'd love to have more scenes "completely" working rather than just "mostly" working.

Welp, off to working on the final necessary region, SCEE. Seems like a lot of scenes are shared between SCEA and SCEE. So far it looks like Home Square and the Marketplaces are the only areas I really need to specifically do for SCEE.

Quick note: screw LUAC. Most of the files these scripts are looking for are long gone with no archivals and even then trying to understand what file format it wants is difficult because it's LUAC.

SCEJ Marketplace screenlink error has been fixed and Cinema Auditorium is working. I can now consider the SCEJ side of things pretty much done (Though LUAC held me back from getting a few things requiring external servers working... Not as much as SCEA though.)

I assume after fixing the odd-looking screen in the marketplace (wrong file was used for wrong screen) and testing the Cinema auditorium I'd consider SCEJ pretty much done.

Good sign is that this scene runs on a newer (1.80) HDK version compared to the prior Home Square version I was using (had 1.3.6 HDK) This will likely work better.

Following up on this, I've decided to re-bar Japan's Home Square with a newer revision (specifically the Summer Day version) This will hopefully fix the screen-nonsense.

Take back what I said about SCEJ giving me few issues. For whatever reason several screens in SCEJ Home Square just simply don't work. I'll see if separate SCEJ Home Square scene versions yield better results but for now I'll fix up the small issues that DO exist in other scenes

As expected, testing the SCEJ scenes has resulted in very few issues so far, and most if not all of the issues that DO exist can easily be corrected. Most of it is screenlink related because Sony decided to leave old screenlink xmls in newer revisions of these scenes.

The prior way used individual lines of code calling the mount command individually. Now it's pretty much automated using a table. Much better and easier imo.

Just improved the scene-mounting script to make it easier on users, now all you need to do is to put the name of the BAR file into a table and it'll be mounted.

All of this aside, things have been going quite smoothly for SCEJ spaces and I don't doubt I'll be done with it soon, as there's very few potential problem areas. (Unlike with SCEA which had several objects that wouldn't work out of the box or requested secure root stuff)

Part of me believes this lack of "screenlink content" around the end of SCEJ Home's lifespan had to do with the discontinuation of new content for SCEJ's version of Home -- I mean, what were they gonna advertise if they didn't have any new content in their region?

This is not the case for SCEA and SCEE. While they did use several "shared" screenlinks around the end, there was a bit of a higher variety in the mix of images SCEA and SCEE used compared to SCEJ around the end of Home's lifespan.
