"Of course. Goodnight Reese.♡" He answered, the dish eventually cleaned, dried and put away before he made his exit. All doors were locked just the way she liked it, a quick scan of the area made. Although he promised to stay safe, the itch of battle grew stronger each day.
She stood there fumbling her hands. Then smiled softly with a little nod. Little by little she was getting use to his kind acts. "O-okay.. Thank you.. I'll see you again soon!.. I love you and please be safe." She squeaked out before turning and exiting the room

"Reese I know I don't have to. But I want to." Gathered the plate and fork already heading to the sink. "I 𝒂𝒏𝒙𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒍𝒚 await his answer.♡" Chuckles a little before starting to wash. "Go relax."
She immediately shook her head. "Y-you don't have too!! I'll clean up! You can go whenever you want too.." She fumbled her hands once more, mumbling. "I'll let you know if John allows me to bring you.."

"Then he'll deal with me. You have other things to take care of. Watching some crystal isn't your job.♧" Or maybe it was more like he didn't enjoy Gold bringing his issues to her. Still as protective as always...

His gaze eased up when she confirmed nothing terrible happened, his two slices finished off. "Oh I see. Do you still have the prism? Or did he take it with him?"

"Gold?" Squints a little trying to remember who that was until it dawned on him. "Ah, the little sunspot who attempted to befriend me... he didn't harm you did he?♧" He asked watching her with an increased level of intensity.
Her hands lightly gripped her counter. "I saw a familiar face a while ago. He nearly scared me out of my skin.." She said with a awkward laugh.. "Gold was out there rummaging around like a drunkard.."

"Hm. There's truth in that. Maybe I should learn something new for the month as well..." Is nearly finished with his first slice of pie to move on with the second.
"I doubt I will.. But I just thought learning to make something new for the month would be good.." She tried to keep from fumbling her hands, she always did that to try and comfort herself in any type of situation.

"When haven't I liked your cooking?♡" He says with a soft chuckle, the first bite taken of a slice soon after. Delicious as always and he's never even had pumpkin pie. "Thanksgiving? Are you going to celebrate it this year?"
As usual she cut him two neatly sliced pieces, handing the plate over and waiting to see if he'd like a third. She sat at her counter and carefully placed a glass dome back over the pie. "I do hope you like it. I learned to make it this year for Thanksgiving.. I think."

Her excitement never ceased to make his smile stay as he followed her into the kitchen.
"Oh!-" Her masks ears perked up upon hearing that, she turned and hurried herself back to the kitchen she was often found in. "Right! Come along now! I'll cut you a few slices.♪"

"Normal is boring anyway. Who would care to be like that?♡" Gave her a soft smile, arms folded across his chest. "Now, about that pie..."
She thought for a while longer before giving up. Okay yeah—. Maybe Kennie was that bad!.. but she didn't wanna say it. "Yeah.. That's true. I don't think anyone is okay enough to be classified as normal.."
