happy 2025! i realized i haven't introduced myself. i'm ela, i'm the new chief of staff at @shefiorg . i have an odd background- i studied film in LA. we weren't bad- our senior year thesis project even went to @Festival_Cannes. i loved storytelling, but i didn't want to work in.

so many founders started their companies in their thirties- look up most of the unicorns today and they were started at or after 30. i'm also very tired of the young "chosen one" founder narrative (if you're young and starting a company that's awesome tho!). people who spend.
living in sf can give u existential dread about not having made it when 19 y/o cracked founders are doing their thing. but i recently learned that peter thiel only started paypal at 30/31 - after law school, he did a bunch of diff jobs in nyc, figuring it out. so there may be.
