As of today, the number of political prisoners in #HongKong has increased to 1,415, and hundreds of them have been jailed for over 3 years without trials. Anyone criticises Chinese authorities will be thrown in jail and face possible life in prison. #FreeHKPoliticalPrisoners
In July 2020, the CCP put into effect a National Security Law. Since then, over 100 pro-democracy activists have been charged under its authority. Jimmy Lai is one of them.
