Trying out dynamic lights in my software rendered raycaster. So far it's okay, but I haven't added light ray collision yet to get shadows, so that will probably tank it quite a lot. But I think light can be made lower resolution, plus this is running in quite high res anyway.

It's been an interesting project so far, including OMP for parallel rendering, and more recently, incorporating a polygon clipping library. Initially tried solving clipping myself but it turned out to be a fool's errand and best to follow in steps of far more capable people.

Ello, fellow C enthusiasts! Been working on a couple of projects, one of which is a DOOM-ish raycaster. It aims to be a general-purpose thing, so I'm interested seeing how it builds and runs for other as I've only built this with GCC (on Windows). 🔗
