10/11′s Athlete of the Week is Logan Eggen from Archbishop Bergan High School and the Fremont Legion Baseball Team.

Ryan Dix, in possibly his last start in high school, turns in a gem. 7 1/3 innings, one run on five hits, three strikeouts and a pair of walks. He embraced the rest of the infield before turning the ball over to Isaac Barton.

Logan Eggen, hero. The senior first baseball singles with the bases loaded. @FmtNEBaseball walks it off in the bottom of the ninth 2-1 over Carpet Land.

.@FmtNEBaseball is going to the district title game on a walk-off walk 8-0 in five innings. @EggenLogan with the “Maddox” complete game shutout on 47 pitches. Aiden Vacha’s three-run home run in the first set the tone. A rematch with JC Brager awaits tomorrow.
