In a sane society, if you get shot and you can, you dial the emergency number and give all the information you can. This is Naij, our helpline is Twitter. It’s not illogical. Twitter is our 911. So many lives have been saved because of tweets like that. There’s no justification.
We have to admit that it is illogical to be shot & be tweeting. People have been attacked for tweeting under less grave circumstances. We attack those people in hindsight.

This is the most worrying thing about this man’s tenure — he genuinely thinks it was a success. Now, we not only stand the risk of underperforming leaders, we also stand the risk of leaders not even realising how terrible they are — the death and burial of accountability.

My mum turned 52 yesterday. Of those 52 years, she’s spent 26 married to my Dad. It’s their anniversary today. They’ve been ‘together’ for 36 years. I’ve been around for 25 of those. They’ve been such great examples of love and I couldn’t have asked for better. 🙏🏽❤️
