It's sad that this still needs to be said, but things that *do not* prove that someone is not a harasser include: "They're a great scientist" "They are a really nice person" "They've never done that to me" #BelieveSurvivors

Clinical psychologists should also be able to obtain licensure by the end of their PhD program. We've accrued thousands of unpaid / low paid clinical hours up to that point. Hard to think after all that psychologists still aren't licensed.

As a young therapist, there are many times I feel inadequate because I can't "fix" the factors contributing to my patients' distress. The job loss, discrimination, infidelity, poverty, disability... Therapy can be an incredible tool. But it's not a solution.

We decide to go to therapy when our emotional pain outweighs our discomfort with vulnerability.

Disclosing a mental illness can be scary and harmful. This leaves a lot of people suffering alone in silence. Safe people/places need to be openly visible (like LGBTQ+ allies). It's up to us to create a community where people feel supported, accepted, and respected. #MH4ALL
