RIP, @LeonKrier. Years before he was the first @DriehausPrize laureate, he was the first director of @SOM_Design’s Chicago Institute for Architecture & Urbanism before leaving to design Charles III’s Poundbury.

List of federal properties to be sold include two-thirds of Mies van der Rohe-designed Federal Center: the John C. Kluczynski Federal Building and the US Post Office. Presumably includes the Calder that's in the plaza between them.
