For the first time, we have achieved a platinum award for our School Games mark! This award demonstrates our continued commitment to ensuring children have a range of positive experiences in PE and sport. We will continue building on this success next year. @stchris_trust

Year 2 have been learning about fire safety. They have been very curious in the lessons. Today they learned about the 3 P’s ‘prevent, plan, practise’ and designed a new fire mascot for a fire department. We loved seeing their creative and fun ideas! @stchris_trust #allourchildren

What a brilliant performance at Saturday’s Summer fayre from our Year 5 and 6 dancers. They have worked so hard on their routine and they performed it perfectly in front of a large audience. Well done to everybody involved! @stchris_trust #allourchildren

A great effort in the heat from our Y5/6 girls football team who played in the cup quarter final against Manadon Vale. Despite losing the game, the girls showed great determination and kept going until the final whistle. @stchris_trust #allourchildren

In DT, Year 2 have been looking at healthy foods and how to create their own healthy smoothie. Last week they followed their design brief and made a smoothie using ingredients of their choice. We sat outside and enjoyed them as a family in the sun! @stchris_trust #allourchildren

Some of our Year Five children have had an exciting morning at Plymouth Golf Centre. They had the opportunity to experience the driving range before having a go at a ‘Super Six’ golf event. They showed great teamwork and encouraged each other throughout. @stchris_trust

Year 6 have had unforgettable residential at Barton Hall; the three days were packed full of challenge, laughter, and incredible memories. They embraced each activity with enthusiasm and determination and we are so proud of them all. #allourchildren @stchris_trust

What a wonderful week with beautiful weather. We enjoyed using our reading shed and shared and read our books together.

In Design & Technology Year 2 have been tasting existing products on the market in preparation for when they make their own smoothies at the end of term. They loved trying these and found it very exciting! They are eager to start planning their own! @stchris_trust @allourchildren

Year Four are currently taking part in a workshop on inclusion and identity. Kadus from Plymouth Argyle Community Trust is leading the workshop and the children are exploring this topic by completing a range of interactive and engaging activities. @stchris_trust #allourchildren

Our KS2 children had another brilliant year at the annual athletics event. Over half of them qualified for the individual running finals and they all won their relay race heats. In the finals, we had lots of children finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Well done everyone! @stchris_trust
