MTPS Bus driver, Sharon Harmon, instructs Cranberry Pines students about the purpose of the "White Line" along the curb. Students are to stay behind the line as busses pull up to keep them safe. Ms. Harmon won last month's Safety Contest for her white line recommendation.

Dr. Emmanuel Ndiema, Head of Archaeology, National Museum of Kenya, presented to Mr. Del Rossi's Social Studies Class on growing up in a village in Kenya. He also shared historically significant archaeological artifacts with the class from the remains of Homo Erectus.

Mr. Cliff Toy, Medford VFW Post 7677, Post Essay Chairperson for the Fifth Grade Essay Contest, talks about student contests available for Middle School and High school students sponsored by VFW's across the country.

Commander Joseph Painting of Medford's VFW Post 7677 recites "In Flanders Field" for the audience during the Veterans Day program at Taunton Forge. Fifth Grade students were recognized by the Post for their essays on the topic "Sacrifices Made by Those Who Serve"

Congratulations to all the winners of this year's Veterans tificstes and Day Essay Contest for Fifth Grade students. The contest is hosted by VFW Post 7677 of Medford. Winners and Runners up all received certificates and an award from the Post.

In Honor of Our Veterans..Students from Boy Scout Troop 300 conduct a flag folding ceremony to conclude this morning's recognition program of Medford's Annual Veterans Day Essay Contest for Fifth Grade students. The program was hosted by the Taunton Forge School this year.

Ms.Sharman Ebbeson, retired employee of MTPS, demonstrates to fourth grade students how slaves were moved through the underground railroad and some of the strategies they employed to gain their freedom.

Mr. Michael Panarella, retired LRHS District teacher, teaches fourth grade students about Dr. Still's medicine shop at the Dr. Still House in Medford. Students were amazed by the local herbs used by Dr. Still to treat various illnesses.

Ms. Jessica Minahan, BCBA, presents to middle school teachers during the AM Session on "Increasing Work Engagement and Reducing Oppositional Behavior in Students." Ms. Minahan's presentations are engaging and well received by her audiences.
