This is EVERYTHING!!! It takes time to do this but it’s great for overall structure. Links are embedded for everything ss will need. Ss know exactly what to do if they finish early. If students are absent they know exactly what they missed. I love this!!!💕💕

I love how this Tt uses ⁦@Edulastic⁩ to gauge the proficiency of ss. It doesn’t embarrass them but it does tell her what she needs to do. She’ll either reteach whole group, pull small groups based on the data, or move on. If your “exit” ticket doesn’t serve a purpose…

I just tried something different with instructional coaching. I won’t get a chance to meet with a Tt until after Thanksgiving but I know it will be more beneficial if I give immediate feedback. I just used @Screencastify to share feedback and tips for enhancing his project.

I’m loving the time stamp feature on the @TeachBoost platform. When I’m visiting a teacher and the feature is on it helps me see the flow of the lesson. The teacher and I can see where the time went because it definitely “goes”.

I’m visiting Mr. Kilgore at @MunfordHigh and ss are engaged in a project that’s requires them to recreate scenes from the American Revolution. There’re using chromebooks, WeVideo, and pure talent to do this assignment. They’re learning and laughing. Love this!

Dear @dominos Please remind your wonderful employees that hygiene and hand washing is VERY important. I hate to be the one to remind them to wash their hands between transactions. Ugh!

This makes the 2nd Tt I have visited today that’s using @activelylearn effectively. Both have embedded questions to assess ss during the lesson. Using the teacher notes on the right margin draws ss attention to key terms, points or questions.@MunfordHigh @TCBOE

Effective strategy #15: Engage ss in activities that help them link prior knowledge to new content. According to Marzano and his researchers (Mayer 1979; West & Fesham, 1976) previewing is important for ss with low background knowledge. @MunfordHigh @TCBOE

Gaming + feedback= win win!!! Gaming is a very effective formative assessment strategy for Ts to use to gauge who got it and who needs additional support.

Implementing small groups is an effective best practice that should be practiced in K-12. But time is an issue and managing students that are not in the small group is an issue. Issues are meant to be solved. Hmmm…high school students…55 minutes. @MunfordHigh @TCBOE

Day 1 of Fishbowl Strategy…The conversations I just heard in a Psychology class were mind blowing 🤯. These ss weren’t discussing surface level stuff, they were DEEP😲. And the transparency of how they see the world…WOW. @MunfordHigh @TCBOE
