In #Ethiopia, I met Amina and her beautiful daughter, Mone, at a @WorldVisionUSA Nurturing Care Group. Here, families learn to cook nutritious porridge and care for their children’s health. It was my joy to feed Mone as she grows strong again.

Momina, an #Ethiopian grandmother, taught me what happens when food distributions stop. When a U.S. grant provided quarterly food donations for two years, Momina could save for the future. Now, as she cares for her daughter and granddaughters, they are down to one meal a day.

I met Derartu and little Nanati last week in #Ethiopia, where the young mom told me that food grown and donated by Americans, as well as U.S.-funded education equipping #Ethiopian parents to screen for malnutrition and prepare nutrient-dense porridges, changed their lives.

In Ethiopia, a mother told me, “Please thank Americans—they’re helping us save our children’s lives.” These stories make foreign aid cuts heartbreaking. I spoke with @CTmagazine about why faith and generosity matter. Read more at

Today more than a million #Rwandans enjoy happier, healthier lives thanks to @WorldVisionUSA’s donors, partners, and local leaders striving for the “impossible.” Two years ago I celebrated the milestone … and I’ll never stop celebrating God’s faithfulness!

Two summers ago, World Vision reached a God-sized goal in #Rwanda: ensuring clean water access for everyone, everywhere we work there. Despite economic upheaval, a global pandemic, and the naysayers believing it couldn’t be done, God was at work.

In God’s eyes, however, numbers matter far less than the individual lives behind them. Learn about one of these lives and the hope that #WorldVision’s faith-based work provides at

As a CEO, I love numbers that convey results, like this: @WorldVisionUSA served 57 million people worldwide in 2024.

"Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" (2 Cor. 3:17). On this #IndependenceDay, may His presence fill every city, town, and home—bringing freedom, fullness of life, and hope to share with His children around the world.

@WorldVisionUSA Last month alone, World Vision provided food to 300,000 displaced Ethiopians, more than half of whom are children. We remain committed to turning fear into hope for families like Naney’s.

“I arrived with nothing but fear and hope,” she says, crediting @WorldVisionUSA’s life-saving food support with bringing her peace. Knowing her children eat three times a day and have the energy to return to school, Naney’s hope for their future has been restored.
