We have some Drs whose life's work have been affirming, but they are very far and few. #MECFS.

#MECFS has no treatment l, no cure. All previous 'treatments' hv been debunked. medical practitioners would talk up the 'impact' in their reports. ask the patients if what was stated is a true reflection of what has occurred. the narrative would significantly differ.

#MECFS challenges many old medical beliefs, yes, I said beliefs. There is a reluctance to deep dive into researching the condition with urgency and following up research leads that counter what we now know are harmful practices and inaccurate and limited beliefs.

Generally, people with #MECFS experience continuous medical gaslighting and lack of understanding.

#MECFS is the understated, underresearched, under-resourced, & under-diagnosed condition (the latter especially affects Black people). E.g. in the UK, look at diff. in u/standing what the symptoms are between the NHS, specialist orgs, Dr's, & patients' lived experiences.

@AddisonLeeUk @ComCabLondon @AddisonLeeUk ABT driver, puts up wheelchair ramp, then says they are sending someone else for me and drives off. I called @AddisonLeeUk who said there is no record of the driver arriving and the job was cancelled. I raised a complaint. #accesstowork. 10/many.

@AddisonLeeUk @ComCabLondon Through this time I am speaking to my mum on the phone. & the driver is outside of his vehicle. The driver then says, he cannot remember how to do it, gets on his phone. Comes back & says I need to straighten up my chair. request that I go bk down the ramp to do so. 9/many.

@AddisonLeeUk @ComCabLondon @AddisonLeeUk the replacement vehicle showed up around 5pm. It was a TXE. I Wheeled up the ramp with assistance. The driver asked IF I wanted seatbelt on. I said yes. To paraphrase, he said is it compulsory? The chair is sturdy and will not move 8/many.
