Ss began drafting yesterday and used some of these strategies on their own. These experts will teach the class instead of me! Excited to challenge grade 2 students to write longer and stronger about topics they love.

The next step in co-creating class norms this year... Kids drew pictures and took photos of their ideas. Teachers should be at the bottom of the display, BUT students need to be able to see their own work. Interesting to think about a T's roles too @aisbudapest @ESLearningAISB

I try to add words to lists to show that there are no absolutes.

How does one know what sound <y> can make at the end of a word? Ss sorted, named groups, explored the question, and added more words to the groups. So impressed with how independent my class has been with this! @wordtorque @PageEngage #structuredwordinquiry
