EDEX recently completed a unique project for a client in the nuclear energy industry. Our team supplied a heavy 9" x 43.3125" x 43.3125" carbon steel plate, which will be used to cut a 39" OD circle from its center for a specialized radiology test.

PLATELAND At Edmonton Exchanger, our steel plate inventory is vast, exceeding 30,000 metric tons, and has earned the nickname Plateland. We house one of the world’s most extensive inventories of SA516-70 normalized pressure vessel plate, ranging from 1/4″ to 12″ thick.

Project Spotlight: Furnace Radiant Coil Fabrication EDEX recently fabricated a replacement Furnace Radiant Coil from P5B (9Cr-1Mo) material which involved fabricating four radiant coil arcs with electric resistance pre-heat coils, welding, DHT, and PWHT with extensive NDE.
