I'm not a gold or bitcoin or equity pumper of any sort...I just see these as attempts to survive a monetization problem that has no real solution. A quick review of US demographics makes the lack of further potential growth pretty evident, as the vast majority of net population

demographics drive changes in demand, the unfunded liabilities, and interest rate policy (to increasingly incentivize the substitution of leverage/debt for slowing organic growth...and to make up for the continued collapse in labor force participation as mass retirement continues

I've got vague theories on what's going on in Japan...anybody have actual insight on what I'm looking at here with the rollover of the BoJ balance sheet coinciding with a blow-off taking place in the Nikkei...not exactly based on a consumer-driven or economic-driven boom.

just hoping the US young adult population holds massive amounts of Nasdaq equities to pay off their incredible student loan debt? No, elderly and institutions hold all that stock...oh well, you young people are still on the hook for all that mis-allocated debt.

not sure if folks are grasping what has already happened in China, Japan, S. Korea, Italy, etc. etc. For instance, by 2040, the population of under 10-year-old children in China and the US will be approaching parity. Just takes time for this population inversion to move it's way
