I'm 65. Roe v Wade became law in 1973 the year I started college. I can't imagine it not having it. Had an abortion in '79. I was on birth control at the time. I went on to speak at events about it and spent time working at a health clinic that performed them.

Absolutely not. They are totally different and work in very different ways. Opiods (man made) simply trick the brain & are addicting. Weed is a plant, can be used 4 pain. I quit vicodin, weed is all I use. It's also an anti-inflammatory. Marijuana has many medical uses.

Had a miscarriage on vacation on my anniversary. I was in the ER cramping & in pain not my hotel. A simple D & C was done. I recovered in Hawaii. There was never any question about what was right. Texas would leave me bleeding until~

Meanwhile in rural Maine~ My husband is a volunteer firefighter/1st responder. When this started they only had 2 N95 masks per fire dept. Have them now, But as of this week they've been told Covid tests will cost us $25. They do not get paid, answer calls 24/7 We're drowning here

By the way.... as I recently applied for social security, and worked 4 different times in my life as a waitress. Be forewarned that low wage doesn't add up to much in later social security benefits. Also my worst tips came from an elite country club!

I paid off my student loans from the 70s in just under 4 yrs, less time than I spent in college. But now have parental plus loan for youngest- this on top of her having a Provost academic scholarship. Costs of college has skyrocketed so much it's insane. Sad for multiple reasons.

2. YOU DON'T NEED TO MAIL IN YOUR BALLOT! STATES ALLOW FOR IN PERSON DROP OFF AT YOUR COUNTY CLERK, REGISTRAR, OR LOCAL BOARD OF ELECTION. LOOK ONLINE FOR YOUR COUNTY AND SEE WHERE TO DROP IT OFF!
Safest way to vote: Ask for an absentee ballot 2 months in advance. If it doesn’t arrive by October 15, pick it up at your county Board of Elections (Google yours), fill it out, and return it right there — and demand validation of your signature.

💔 I grew up in So Cal going on vacations to the Sierra Nevadas. I remember what I thought were permanent glaciers on mountaintops, especially Shasta. Smdh & heartbroken over climate change, drought and wildfires.

Currently working on it in our household... 9 yr old cat, 1 yr old dog. Taking a little time, but coming along (cat's household 1st). Cat's scratched dog on snout # of times, Cat still thinks it's her turf & is always given retreat space. More peace each day.
