Lunch in the shade, followed by The Water Cycle and quiz. We also used thermometers to measure the temperature of the air and of the river. We learned about the reservoir too! I am very proud of all our children who represented our school so brilliantly. Mrs A

What a great trip Year 4 had to Cuerden Valley Park. Here we are collecting wildlife from the river using nets and identifying them using classification keys.

Here, Year 4 are studying the flow of water in the River Lostock and noticing that the outside of the meander flows more quickly! We had some great duck races! .We also labelled a sketch of the river adding our own details.

We are all getting very excited about this, what an amazing addition this will be to our already incredible outdoor space. RD
