The 2025 ESA Prize for Exceptional Achievement honours those overcoming Challenges to make impactful contributions to exp. econ. Prof. Erin Krupka has impressive work on social norms and on incentivized norm elicitation techniques that have become a cornerstone in the field.

Professor Eckel played a foundational role in establishing our ethics program, becoming ESA’s first Ethics Officer. She has been a dedicated mentor and advocate for junior scholars. Her leadership has been instrumental in making ESA a more inclusive and welcoming community.

Professor Chen established our mentoring program and served as the Director of the ESA Mentoring Program until 2024. Through her efforts, hundreds of early career researchers have benefited from mentorship panels, helping to shape the next generation of experimental economists.

On Jan 3rd, the ESA held 3 sessions at the ASSA meetings in SF. They were "Measuring Beliefs", "Polarization, Trust, and Institutions", and "Psychological Motivations Underlying Economic Interactions". We’d like to thank speakers and organizers for their excellent presentations

In December, the ESA held the 3rd annual ESA-BREW-India conference at Ashoka University. It was very successful and the ESA thanks Srijita Ghosh and the rest of the organizing committee for putting on a great event!
