Winners are grinners. Our first game back after the Christmas break and the boys didn't disappoint. We raced into a 2 goal lead before conceding 2 sloppy goals just before half time.

Despite a great team effort, an array of missed chances sees us fall to a narrow 1-0 defeat to @HarlowHillFC reserves. Huge congrats to @HarlowHillFC for securing the league title #UTE

Defeat in the cup yesterday as we go down to Div 2 side Wilberfoss 3-0. A great performance from the lads but it just wasn't quite our day. Effort level was π―. MOTM - Matthew Green. Sponsor - The Raj

A much changed team but yet another win, as the lads dig deep for a gritty 3-2 victory. Goals for Boyce and 2 for Fairbank! #UpTheEbor

Despite not getting out of second gear for much of the game, the lads managed to do the business with some clinical bits of play. A massive 3 points as we look to finish the season strongly and even more importantly a clean sheet too πͺ #uptheebor #yorkfootball

Today's MOTM goes to Sam Brewster who had another solid performance and provided 3 assists. Absolute bags of energy and had the fullback in his pocket all game πππ Thanks to the best Indian in York The Raj for sponsoring the award. #uptheebor

Within 10 seconds of the second half we were back in front after a terrific touch from Sam Brewster set up Bari, who curled an exquisite finish into the top corner. Jim Fairbank then sealed the win late on with a fantastic strike that left the keeper stranded on his line. #UTE

Brilliant all round performance and excellent goals from Oscar and Ash, as we beat York RI Mens Football Team 4-0. In truth we perhaps could and maybe should have had a few more. Great to get the first clean sheet of the season in the bank too! MOTM β³β³β³ #uptheebor

After today's call off, a quick catch up post for last week. Despite throwing away a 2-0 HT lead and losing, one man still gave his all and excelled in midfield. Your Raj MOTM was non other than @lamby48600 who is very much "Available on Hinge".

Unfortunately we are abandoned at Ripon today. #StormBert
A lot of league action scheduled for today. Temperatures should be fine by kick-off time, so itβs all about the rain this morning. Letβs hope the action can survive the storm!

A flurry of fixtures for the league this weekend. Why not get out and watch some local football, and then get yourself home to watch (or avoid!) the international stuff?

This week's Man of the Match was shared by 2 players who both contributed heavily to the victory. Ben Burgess was absolutely rampant down the left side of the pitch both in attack and defence. James Alger was the rock in mid and also produced a quite sublime assist for the 4th.

Today's Player of the Match goes to our Goalkeeper Stu Algar. As always exceptional in goal but absolutely excellent during the penalty shootout. Can't think of many keepers who have a better penalty save % πͺπ₯

On penalties we were flawless as all three of our penalty takers (Sam Brewster, Jabari Boyce, Warren Lowe) found the net. Our MOTM Stu Algar produced 3 fantastic saves to secure us passage into the next round πͺ Stuff to work on but a very positive result. #uptheebor

π¨π¨π¨ Victory in the Cup π¨π¨π¨ We progress on penalties against York RI Mens Football Team after a physical game. After falling 1-0 down half way through the second half, Jim Fairbank produced a great finish to even the scores.
