Resolutions are often about trying harder. Paying attention invites us to receive. This year, rest in the goodness, wonder, and awe already present in your life.

May we remember and celebrate the help and goodness given abundantly all throughout our lives.

As the snowflakes of the season begin to fall don’t forget to put on childlike (and puplike) wonder with your coat and gloves. It might just change the dread to goodness!

We went out to see the Northern Lights. To really see them, we had to get away from all the noise and light. We found what we were chasing in the quiet and stillness of an empty field. There is probably a lesson there. Step away from the noise to notice what’s full of wonder.

And today, as I pull this cart of pumpkins, I see it again. The same wonder. The same imagination. The same quiet goodness growing all around us. Every season has its way of showing us something new about God. May our eyes stay focused.

We marvel at how every snowflake is one of a kind—tiny, intricate, unlike any other. A small reminder of how endlessly creative God is.
