@EastlandKate Yes, that is something that I’m extremely concerned about. We’ve always fallen through the gap, because my son doesn’t have a LD. It needs to change!

@EastlandKate @martinimarie So much this!! And acceptance that even "high functioning" (whatever the hell that means) may have high support needs when under stress

@EastlandKate @martinimarie They so bad I damaged my finger and it took a month to get it sorted, it got so bad I took the angle grinder out to take what was left off, they don’t help you as your fault

@EastlandKate @martinimarie From my experience with my son who is autistic and has LD, the learning disability nursing team in our local hospital was a joke. They actually made things worse.
