Yes, that is something that I’m extremely concerned about. We’ve always fallen through the gap, because my son doesn’t have a LD. It needs to change!

So much this!! And acceptance that even "high functioning" (whatever the hell that means) may have high support needs when under stress

They so bad I damaged my finger and it took a month to get it sorted, it got so bad I took the angle grinder out to take what was left off, they don’t help you as your fault

From my experience with my son who is autistic and has LD, the learning disability nursing team in our local hospital was a joke. They actually made things worse.
