There was lots of practical stuff happening too! Safe use of tools and some fire lighting where there was some lovely collaboration between older and younger children 🔥🤗

Day 3 of Spring Bank Holiday Club but Day One of Summer!! ⛱️🌞🍧 (Still wore a base layer though 🙄) Today's group split into two tribes and went to war!! 🪖We had lots of den raiding and then working together to compromise on the inevitable disagreements!

Lots of knife work this afternoon to make swords, spears and bows 🗡️ 🏹 Had to laugh as the children were collected by their families! Some of them were very "tooled up"! Great spending time with this bunch! 🌳🌳🔥🍢

Another chilly day saw the group getting busy as soon as they came through the gates. Loads of mud cafe work (delicious soup, lasagna and cupcake) 🧁 colourful crafting 🎨bug hunting 🐛and tool work 🪓 kept us warm!
