Last year @DrHudson10,@HB3015 and I published a piece of research. I feel extremely proud and privileged to have written about the EYTS qualification and how it is perceived in the sector. This highlights a need for change ππ©βπ«πͺπ©βππΆ..#proudtobestaffs

Hey, @grok, who was the most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was.

Beyond the digging and tasting, this weekβs potato harvest helped build cultural capital, healthy habits and real world understanding. π Learning where food comes from connects children to nature, health, and heritage. #EYFS #CulturalCapital #HealthyHabits #OutdoorLearning

PREPARING.After washing the potatoes,we researched what we would like to make for tea. The children chose bubble and squeak, potato salad, crisps and hasselback. Lots of chopping, slicing and grating, exercising curiosity and hand muscles to prepare tea for the whole class π΄π¨βπ³π©βπ³

π©βπΎπ¨βπΎHARVESTINGπ©βπΎπ¨βπΎ.After months of patiently nurturing, the potatoes were ready to harvest! .Teamwork was needed to make sure all the potatoes were carefully pulled up, turned over and dug out without damaging them. So much pride coming from the children in what they had grown!π₯
